A very well made wrench with a lot of features. I have seen others in stores for twice the price and half the features.

Has just what I needed for working on my Bushmaster.

It did the job perfectly

From glock 19 slides to armourers tools, Brownells makes good quality stuff.

I see a few reviews saying the slot isn't big enough to fit over buffer tube. You have to slide the buttstock off of the buffer tube and slide it over the end, it fits. You can search YouTube for a video how to do this. It takes about 5 seconds

First off I have no clue what these other people are doing or if they have ever built anything other than Legos. I'm assuming these negative reviews are from YouTube builders and not real gunsmiths. This armorers wrench is right up there alongside with the Tapco armorers wrench. I have built at least 200 plus AR15s and this wrench has had no failure and fits all milspec products. Having more than three contact points on the barrel nut side gives a piece of mind along with having more points of contact for the castle nut. I would highly recommend this product for real gunsmiths and amateurs as long as you know what you're doing. Don't leave bad reviews just because you're a moron.

Timely delivery, Good price, seems well made and does the job

So far, the best AR armorers wrench I have ever used. I have 3 other wrenches before this one. None of the other wrenches will fit around an extra heavy match barrel, but this one does. I recently installed a new extra heavy match barrel (manufacturer not included here) on an AR-15, but none of my barrel nut wrenches had an opening large enough to clear the barrel. So while the pegs would fit the barrel nut, the wrench wont fit around the barrel. The Brownells wrench has a large enough opening to clear my match barrel. On other wrenches, I have bent the pegs and have had a couple pegs fall out after just a few uses and know others that have had the same experience. For those of you who have a S&W M&P-10 like I do, you know that its barrel nut is the same size/pattern as a standard AR-15 but a larger diameter AR-10 barrel. A very similar situation as my above AR-15 with an extra heavy match barrel that my other wrenches will not fit over the barrel. My M&P-10 is a very good rifle, but it seems S&W is doing their own thing as neither a DPMS nor Armalite barrel nut wrench will fit the S&W. This wrench does fit the S&W M&P-10 as well as an AR-15 with an extra heavy barrel. With this wrench I was able to remove the S&W M&P-10 factory barrel nut to install a free float handguard, no other wrench would fit the S&W. In addition to fitting over the larger diameter barrels, this wrench has both pegs on one side and teeth (I dont know what its actually called) on the other side. Both sides fit a standard AR-15 (and the S&W M&P-10) barrel nut, but the teeth side made a more stout fit that the pegs which can bend or slip easily. This has been a big benefit with all my builds so far. Tolerances on this wrench are much better than the others. The 5/8 and 3/4" slots for flash hiders fit better than my other wrenches. The other wrenches have too loose of tolerances and have a sloppy fit so I usually get out an open end wrench to make sure I don't booger up the flats of flash hiders. But this wrench fits flash hiders just as good as a quality open end wrench. I have been using this wrench for a while now on nearly a dozen builds/customization's and it has held up much better than other wrenches. The finish on other wrenches wears very quickly, my Brownells wrench still looks nearly new. It feels more comfortable in my hand and doesnt have those sharp edges like most wrenches. Just a pleasure to use. And its Made in the USA! Doesnt get any better in my book. Well done, Brownells, well done!
