It's like Santa arrived in September and dumped his pack of goodies on the Brownells workbench, but it's actually Paul Levy with this week's new products. The Modlite PL350 weaponlight for pistols has an interchangeable head that can be swapped with current AND future Modlite heads. Comes with a rechargeable battery you can remove and pop into the (also included) charger without taking the PL350 off the gun. Vortex's Crossfire II 3-9x50mm riflescope has a reticle specifically configured for rifles that shoot straight-walled hunting cartridges like .350 Legend, .45-70 and .450 Bushmaster. Instructions include settings for specific cartridges, and you can write your hash marks on a handy sticker you can affix to your stock. Smooth, positive adjustment knobs and a very solid overall feel for a sub-$200 scope! You may want to install the .45 Caliber Two-Chamber Muzzle Brake from Midwest Industries on the rifle that gets the Vortex Crossfire. This brake will go on any hunting rifle, lever gun, or even a .45 ACP PCC (pistol caliber carbine) with 5/8"-24 tpi muzzle threads. Finally, Paul has the Colt LE6921ERP upper assembly. This is a complete AR-15 upper receiver with an M4 14.5" barrel, a slim, free-floating Centurion M-LOK® handguard, and a pinned gas block that isn't gonna "walk off" on you. ALL the parts are made by Colt, so you get genuine Colt quality through and through!
WARNING: Never attempt to disassemble or reassemble a firearm unless you are absolutely certain that it is empty and unloaded. Visually inspect the chamber, the magazine and firing mechanism to be absolutely certain that no ammunition remains in the firearm. Disassembly and reassembly should follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
