Brownells new product guru Paul Levy is back to show us two new arrivals, starting with the Civil Defense Rifle. Produced by KE Arms, the CDR is the result of collaboration between KE, InRangeTV, and Forgotten Weapons. This light, maneuverable AR-15 carbine borrows from the upcoming WWSD Rifle ("What Would Stoner Do"), but you can get your hands on a CDR right now! It's built on KE's lightweight KP-15 molded polymer lower receiver, with an ambi safety and the KE Arms DMR Trigger providing a short, single-stage pull, crisp break, and super-short reset. The bulky traditional forward assist on the upper receiver..... is gone. The charging handle isn't ambi, but it sports an easy-to-grab oversized latch. The lightweight skeletonized handguard has a Picatinny rail on top and M-LOK® slots on the sides and bottom. A Faxon "pencil" contour barrel and A2 hider also keep the weight down. If you want to upgrade your existing AR-15, the new Brownells Wrenchman™ Lightweight Handguard is just the ticket. Made for Brownells by Midwest Industries, this model is just as easy to install - and as rock solid once it's on the gun - as the original Wrenchman™. This is a very skinny, slimline handguard with lotsa slots of the M-LOK® variety and a Picatinny on top. Special installation wrench is, of course, included.

WARNING: Never attempt to disassemble or reassemble a firearm unless you are absolutely certain that it is empty and unloaded. Visually inspect the chamber, the magazine and firing mechanism to be absolutely certain that no ammunition remains in the firearm. Disassembly and reassembly should follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
