There was a time, not so long ago, when I could peer over the open sights of my favorite .22 and decide which side of a pop can I wanted to hit at 50 yards to make it spin or jump according to my wishes.

at a local gun show. It had been well maintained, but with

sees a lot of use, there were some wear marks and
imperfections that detracted
from its appearance.
