Tight Grained Walnut For Authentic Restoration
Superior grade, straight-grained, American Black Walnut closely matches the original Winchester wood; provides that extra look of authenticity. Semi-finished, fully contoured to within approximately 1⁄16" of finish size, then machine sanded to remove all production marks; buttstock throats are opened and sanded. Inletting is left slightly “tight”. All stocks are ready for final fit, stain and finish.
