Hinge includes a release button and uses a heavy duty spring and locking notches to securely hold the buttstock in the folded or open position. Clear, polymer tubing along the top of the buttstock frame prevents direct contact of cheek to metal surface. Hollow handle with rubber plug allows storage of small parts, cleaning supplies and other field necessities. Rubber recoil pad with side bumper prevents game-spooking clatter in the closed position; QD swivel studs allow sling installation. Carbon Steel (CS) model features carbon steel buttstock frame with black oxide finish. Stainless Steel (SS) model has a natural, stainless steel frame. Accepts sporter contour barrels.
