High-resolution night vision weapon sight quickly mounts on any MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail interface forward of an existing scope to add night vision capability to daytime target acquisition platforms. No tools installation: built-in throw-lever mount clamps to the Picatinny rail ahead of scope. Permanent boresight alignment – unit can be installed and removed without affecting boresight. Can also be mounted on a spotting scope, used as a hand-held device, or adapted to other operational requirements. Shock Mitigation System™ protects electronics so the unit to be mounted on weapons up to and including .50 caliber bolt action rifles. Optimized for use on M16, SCAR-H, M24, M110, and long-range rifles chambered in .300 Win Mag. and .338 Lapua. Uses the thin-film, auto-gated Generation 3 ITT Pinnacle® Image Intensifier Tube. Fast f/1.15 catadioptric lens gives an exceptionally bright, sharp image in starlight. Runs on two (2) type AA batteries; 40 hours runtime at 70° F.
