Heavy-duty rear sight is over-engineered for both strength and durability, so you can take your S&W wheelgun into the rough country without worrying about sight failure. Oversized blade tenon and buttressed sight body stand up to the knocks and dings of the real world. Machined from solid steel bar stock, then heat-treated for hardness and given a matte black finish to reduce glare. Dual opposing windage screws lock your settings until you’re ready to change them. Hunting-style rear blade features rounded edges to prevent snags, and a serrated surface for a glare-free sight picture. Elevation adjustment screw with dual detents holds settings under hard recoil. The Old-Style S&W Rear Sight Body replaces the old-style square-tang sights with the small attaching screw found on older S&W revolvers. Old-Style sight body must be drilled for the attachment screw. Sight body includes target style sight blade, available in three heights.
