Color-Coded For Easy Identification
Round wire, steel recoil springs are color-coded, so you can make sure you have the correct spring for a custom or hot load. Coating typically lasts 3,000 rounds, which is the recommended spring life. Blue spring is rated at 12 lbs. and is designed for standard-velocity 9mm ammunition. Red spring is rated at 14 lbs. for hot-loaded 9mm, .40 S&W, or .45 ACP ammunition. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR COMPACT GLOCK Models (19,23,32).
