Designed by MONTY KENNEDY Saves The Day When A Line Starts Astray!
A tool that isn't often used - until it is needed - and then it is the
most necessary checkering tool you can own! Its main pur- pose is
to straighten out checkering lines which have gone astray and to
make layout and other lines really straight. There isn't a checkerer
alive, pro or rank novice, who, at one time or another, hasn't had
a line suddenly head for left field…either due to the wood's
grain, a wood density change, or a false move. Straightening out
such a line - without a Jointer Tool - could easily drive you right up
the wall!
Anyone who has checkered will instantly recognize
the great value of this tool. The beginner (and pro, too!) should
read Monty Kennedy's
Checkering and Carving of Gunstocks
and Bob Sconce's fine checkering articles in Gunsmith
Kinks® and then include a Jointer
with his checkering assortment.
