Stop Fighting With Stubborn Mainsprings
Specially designed tool shortens the time and eliminates the
frustration that goes along with changing mainsprings in double
barrel shotguns. Notched, blade tip captures the plunger head so
you can compress the spring and lift both parts free from the
receiver. No more scratching and gouging the plunger or inner
receiver surfaces with an ordinary screwdriver. Tool works equally
well for installation – simply seat the end of the mainspring in the
receiver, hook the blade notch around the plunger head, compress
the spring, and engage the plunger in the hammer. Stout,
hardened steel shank provides plenty of leverage and keeps you
close to your work for maximum control.
