Weighing only 6 lbs. and only 0.6" thick, it is a traditional cut, triple-curve design for a comfortable fit without sacrificing coverage. The Special Threat Ceramic Plate is rated to withstand hits from the following rifle cartridges: 7.62x39mm (mild steel core), 7.62x51mm M80 Ball, 5.56x45mm M855, and 5.56x45mm M193
