FAQ

What is the difference between the Muzzle Crowning Laps with handles and those without handles?
The Muzzle Crowning Laps are designed to break the corner at the muzzle of the barrel where the bore ends. The handled Laps are used while the barrel turns in a lathe. An abrasive compound is applied to the lap and it is held in contact with the muzzle of the barrel. The non-handled version is used when a lathe is not available. The lap is chucked into a variable speed electric drill, abrasive compound is applied to it, and then it is held in contact with the muzzle while the drill is engaged.
