Can you damage a receiver with a standard V type action wrench?

It is certainly possible to over tighten a traditional V type action wrench and damage a receiver. For this reason, we strongly recommend you use the various Brownell Action Wrenches designed for specific receivers. These wrenches have a large contact area and minimize any danger of damage to the receiver.
