There’s probably been more big game shot with Remington Core-Lokts than any other ammunition. For more than six decades, it has remained the leader in centerfire hunting ammunition. One of the first controlled-expansion bullet designs, it’s still one of the most effective ever developed. Its progressively tapered copper jacket is locked to a solid lead core for perfectly controlled expansion and high weight retention. The Soft Point Core-Lokt (SPCL) offers a broad frontal area for high-energy impact and rapid expansion. Bullet cores are “Lokt” in place to provide deep penetration. The Pointed Soft Point Core-Lokt (PSPCL) style has a Spitzer-shaped profile for improved velocity and flat trajectory. For the varmint hunter, the explosive Power-Lokt® (PL) delivers unmatched performance at long-range with minimal chance of ricochets. An ultra-thin copper jacket is electrolytically plated to the lead core for near-perfect concentricity and balance. For exceptional long-range performance on medium-sized game the Bronze Point (BP) delivers high-power ballistics and a flat trajectory. On impact, the bronze tip is driven backward to create rapid, controlled expansion.
