Nosler Partition bullets are designed for larger animals because the top half of the bullet will mushroom immediately on impact, but the bottom half will not mushroom at all due to the copper partition. This allows more kinetic energy transfer from the bullet to the target even with a lighter bullet. Other calibers, bullet weights and loads are available.
