STEP ONE: Remove the hammer spring assembly from the firearm. To do this, you cock the lever, and on the forward end of the hammer strut there is a hole exposed, just forward of the hammer spring retaining washer.
This kit includes replacement parts for the grip, springs, and the clip draw and tools needed to install those parts. Because springs are under compression, safety glasses are advised.
You will need a long-handled large flat-blade screwdriver, a vise with padded jaws, a Phillips-head screwdriver, and the Brownells Forend Wrench
You will need the tools and parts contained in the Brownells Power Custom 10/22 Upgrade Kit.
The items in this kit include a replacement trigger and tools (punch kit, nylon/brass hammer, and bench block). Not included are needlenose pliers and flathead driver or Allen-head wrench for action screws. Snap Caps of the appropriate caliber are optional to safely test, adjust, and function-test the new trigger.
You will need a 4 ounce to 8 ounce ball peen hammer and a 3/32 roll pin punch or starter punch and roll pin holder to replace your existing latch. We recommend using a bench block to capture the roll pin you remove as it is easily lost.

This tool is designed to be used to replace or repair a missing or damaged front sling swivel rivet on the AR-15/M16 family of rifles and carbines. Make sure the firearm is unloaded prior to using this tool. It is best to fix the rifle bottom side up in a padded vise to control it during rivet installation.
1) If rifle is equipped with a standard two-piece handguard, remove it. 2) Place the front sight assembly on your bench block and using the roll pin punch, drive out the gas tube cross pin, left-to-right.
This tool allows for straight line application of torque compounding the torque settings and allows the use of a barrel nut or free float nut tool and vise without danger of scuffing or scaring the exterior of the upper receiver.
