50-Round Drum Magazine, only

When I first tried my new Pro Mag in my Scottwerx conversion, it consistently failed to eject and the bolt would not close all the way. ( A standard Ruger 10 shot magazine work perfectly.) The bolt was draging on the metal feed lip and part of the feed lip covered the rim of the shell casing causing ejection problems. I worked on the feed lip and the portion of the magazine where the bolt was draging with a fine file and got the magazine where the bolt will close without dragging and the rifle would eject properly. I then went through thirty-five rounds with only one failure to feed and no failures to eject. I ran out of time and had to leave my shooting area. I am pretty sure with a little more tuning I can get the magazine to function correctly. The magazine is difficult to load and I could not get it to take any more than 40 rounds. It would then bind up and would not take any more rounds. However it looks neat on the gun!
