This attaches to the existing barrel nut and comes with the tools needed to install it. It should take about 15 minutes to install it.

No, these fit without alteration to the Delta ring assembly in about 10 minutes.

No. The Delta ring is used to hold the upper/lower ends of the rail that buts against the barrel nut. Locks up very solid.
