Excellent value, and the most trusted in my opinion! I have several of this particular magazine, and I have never had a problem in over 2,000 rounds with any of them! You can't go wrong with Wilson Combat!

Works 100% in numerous 1911s that I have tried. Much better than factory mags (many of which copy the Wilson).

Always drop free. No worries about rust. Don't seem to take a set even when loaded for long periods of time. The small slam pad is great and unobtrusive (unlike many of the add on pads).

The only mags I use in my carry gun (Gunsite 1911) i.e. trust my life to. Hard to say much more than that.

This is the only magazine that my Kimber likes-- and I'm including the factory mags in that assessment. Rebuild kits are cheap when they wear out. Get it!

Although I have a couple other models of Wilson's magazines, I use the Model 47D the most. These eight-round mags are brilliantly engineered and crafted, they are beautifully made and solid, they function with flawless precision, and they disassemble easily for cleaning and inspection. The 47D is everything a mag must be, and more.

These mags, just like everything else Wilson offers, are made by people who truly know the 1911 pistol and who will never tolerate anything less than sustained superiority. I expect the very best, and Wilson comes through every time. Do yourself a favor and stock up on these great mags.
