In over 20 years this is the best holster I've ever used for carrying a 1911 concealed. It holds the pistol extremely well but can draw from it easily. It's comfortable and extremely well made.

After buying a footlocker full of holsters over the years the summer special is the best IWB holster period.I have wore this holster as long as 14 hours in a day with no real discomfort. The savings would be in the hundreds if I had known about this product. Two police officers gave me the info about this product and now I relized that many officers in the know use this holster.

No Holsters are comfortable! However my 1911 custom fits like a glove in this holster and is the most comfortable set-up I own. I actually own several of this particular model as well. Easy to draw and easy to re-holster. nothing bad to say! You can spend more money on less of a holster. Best thing is that I didn't have to wait 6 months to get it!
