Chamber out of Spec

After assembly I checked the headspace , it was a little long but with in spec. On first test fire the chamber is "FAT" and caused the case to buldge and almost rupture. Used an RCBS case gage to check case and the headspace was good . I think I my have got a barrel that was to be chrome lined and was not or an out of spec reamer was used. [...]

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is a great barrel, I have used many and have not been let down. The barrel is accurate and well made. Chrome lining would be nice but for the price you can afford a few extra minutes of cleaning. If you want to spend a fortune on a barrel thats ok, but at least try one of these first. Use the money you save on ammo!

Excellent plinking barrel. Needs chrome lining. No trouble with installation. Everything timed up and fit correctly. No soft pin issues.

The only thing I do not like about this barrel is the lack of a chrome lined barrel and chamber. Did not notice any soft front sight base pins. No reason to drift them out during installation.

This barrel shoots well. The problrm I had with it was during installation. One of the front sight pins was very tight and DPMS must use soft pins because it flattened out. The other pin came out as it should have. I ended up filing the flattened part off and was able to drive the pin out. I like the barrel other than that.
