manufactured, true parallel, 3-square file with only one side
cutting - other two sides safe. This means the file can be used to
widen dovetail slots in gun barrels without danger of deepening
the slot or damaging the edge not being worked on. Being a true
parallel file, you have absolute control over the angle of the
dovetail - impossible with other type files.
