A tool that isn't often used - until it is needed - and then it is the
most necessary checkering tool you can own! Its main pur- pose is
to straighten out checkering lines which have gone astray and to
make layout and other lines really straight. There isn't a checkerer
alive, pro or rank novice, who, at one time or another, hasn't had
a line suddenly head for left field…either due to the wood's
grain, a wood density change, or a false move. Straightening out
such a line - without a Jointer Tool - could easily drive you right up
the wall!
