Features 8 Flutes For Smooth, Uniform Cutting

Clymer’s version of the long forcing cone reamer for shotguns extends shorter factory forcing cones to a full 1-3⁄8" length, gently tapered for improved patterns and less recoil. These cutters have eight 8° flutes which make them very smooth cutting reamers. 12 Gauge cutter has straight flutes and can be used to lengthen the chamber and cut the new forcing cone in one operation, or cut the forcing cone only, if desired. 20 Gauge cutter has left-hand spiral flutes. The long, non-cutting shank makes it possible to alter many barrels using only a large tap handle (shank is 7⁄16" square) to turn the reamer. An extension may be required on some barrels. a
