  • The 1911 feed ramp gauge allows for properly cut feed ramps
  • Ensures that ramps are not overcut, leading to unsupported brass in the chamber
  • To use, barrel must be dismounted from pistol
  • Simply insert the rod into the barrel, place the double sided depth gauge with the .075" side into the chamber.  Slide the rod into contact with the depth gauge and tighten the stop collar.
  • Remove the depth gauge and look at rod in chamber
  • If ramp is cut properly, the ramp and rod will line up
  • If ramp is shallow, the ramp edge will be short of the rod
  • If ramp is too deep, the ramp will be below the rod
