Designed by noted custom 1911 pistolsmith Bob Marvel, this fully assembled unit replaces the slide and barrel of a Government model or Commander. Fits any full-size Government model holster. With the much lower recoil produced by .22 rimfire ammo, you can concentrate on improving your trigger control, grip, sight alignment, and other skills, while saving the cost of full-power ammunition. Plus, you’ll retain the same trigger feel and grip position. During the firing cycle, the barrel and top of the “slide” remain fixed, while only part of the slide reciprocates. Eliminating barrel movement means outstanding accuracy. Elliason® rear sight adjusts for windage and elevation with positive “click” stops. Front and rear sights are rounded so they won’t snag on clothing or gear, with serrations on the rear faces to reduce glare. Reinforced polymer 10-round magazine fits a standard single-stack mag well, and locks the slide to the rear after the last round is fired. Flared base plate aids in positive seating, and removes easily for cleaning.
