Upgrade your AR with the CMMG Upper Receiver M4LE 6.8 SPC II Piston which changes the caliber and working system of your existing rifle. The M4LE 6.8 is chambered in the new 6.8 X 43 SPC II round that the military is looking at and it has the new piston driven system to work the rifle. Hard Chrome lined chamber and bore with a 4140 Chrome-moly vanadium steel barrel that has been W.A.S.P., treated and will stand up to heavy use for a long time. The 4-groove rifling has a 1 in 11 inch twist rate, designed to stabilize the 6.8 and ensure accuracy. Each upper has a 1/2 X 36 threaded muzzle, flash hinder and 11 degree recessed target crown that helps control muzzle climb and insure accuracy. The hard chromed piston is removable from the front of the gas block for cleaning and will not interfere with most upgrades you have on your rifle. Each piston upper has a one piece bolt carrier with an integral impingement key. The piston has on and off settings so your rifle can be fired in either semi-automatic or singe shot mode. A standard M4 round handguard cap tops off the 6.8 upper receiver so it will match your existing firearm. 25 and 5 round magazines are all available.
