Slug guns are more accurate than they used to be. If you load up with Remington Premier Accutip Bonded Sabot Slug ammunition, you will see that. Spiral nose cuts in the brass jacket control expansion at impact from 5 to 200 yards and help retain 95 percent of the slug weight, making a huge permanent wound channel. These slugs are designed to be used in a fully rifled barrel only.
