Machined aluminum mount clamps directly to the side rail of Kalashnikov-pattern rifles for “bank vault” strong attachment of a 30mm red dot scope. Lets you position optic directly over the centerline of the bore, low enough for co-witness of the iron sights in the lower 1/3 of the optic, yet provides enough clearance to field strip the rifle without removing the mount. Steel thumb-lever lock lets you remove and reinstall the mount without loss of zero, while the stainless steel lock pin eliminates unwanted shifting of the mount caused by recoil. Slotted dovetail provides up to .250" of lateral adjustment to help you center the optic over the bore.
