Developed by the instructors at Magpul Dynamics™, this versatile tactical sling switches easily from single-point to two-point operation. Choose traditional two-point attachment for secure, hands-free carry, or single-point configuration for ultra-fast transitions in rapidly changing tactical environments. Use in combination with the Magpul ASAP™ rear adapter plate (available separately or in a kit with sling) for 180° of unrestricted sling movement that lets you change shoulders to take maximum advantage of available cover, address targets around corners or other barriers, and even shift weapon position if one arm is injured. Built from ultra-thin, exceptionally strong nylon webbing, double stitched at stress points for added strength, with heavy-duty, corrosion-proof bronze and polymer friction buckles and steel D-ring. High-strength, bronze snap-hooks have spring-loaded safety locks to resist accidental release under stress. “Lock jaw” snap-hook rotates 360° to help prevent twisting and binding; serves as the quick-release connector for single-point operation and the front attachment point for two-point carry. Rear “snap shackle” with para-cord pigtail on the pull safety allows easy one-handed operation for immediate weapon release during emergency egress. Thick, double-layered, thumb loop allows fast, one-handed length adjustments. Compatible with most loop-style sling adapters. ASAP (Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point) adapter plate provides secure, single-point attachment of the MS2 to your rifle with an unrestricted 180° of sling movement. Multi-Mission Kit includes MS2 sling (black only) and the ASAP adapter plate for the ultimate in versatility. Multi-Mission Kit II contains RSA™ Rail Sling Attachment instead of the ASAP Sling Attachment. The RSA, low-profile sling loop clamps to any MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny or STANAG 4694 handguard rail to provide a secure forward attachment point for the Magpul MS2 or similar clip-on sling. Can be installed on left or right side of top rail, or side or bottom rails for multiple alternate sling configurations. Loop is angled to resist snagging on other gear. Rugged, all-steel construction withstands up to 300 pounds of stress pressure, so it won’t fail under hard use.
