Stripped, steel front sight base is a direct replacement for the original AK-74 part, or it can be used to give an AK-47 a distinctive look by converting it to accept AK-74 muzzle devices. Slips over the end of the barrel and quickly attaches with a 10-32 setscrew. May be welded for permanent attachment. Threaded to accept a 24mm-1.5mm brake or flash hider. Use original rear sight with no modification. Machined bayonet lug accepts Type II and Type III bayonets.
