With the Carlson’s Extended 12-gauge steel shot choke tubes you can choose the distance you want to throw the tightest pattern, for maximum hunting results, before shooting a pattern. Made from 17-4 stainless steel with a blue finish the new line of Carlson’s extended steel shotgun choke tubes measures 3/4 inch past the muzzle of your shotgun. This added length helps eliminate the damage to your barrel caused by extended use of steel shot. At the end of the tube there is a knurled area designed for easy finger tightening during installation. You never have to worry about loosing your choke tube wrench. A longer parallel section has been added to reduce flyers and make a denser pattern when using steel shot.
