Chrome-lined, button-rifled barrel has a heavier contour behind the op rod guide than the standard USGI barrel for added rigidity that enhances accuracy potential. Compatible with any receiver built to USGI specs, including Springfield Armory and LRB Arms receivers; legal for high-power service rifle matches. New-design op rod guide matches the barrel contour and doesn’t contact the handguard, eliminating a pressure point that could reduce accuracy. Guide is made from the same 4140 steel as barrel to maintain similar heat expansion rate, further minimizing strain on the barrel. Knurled guide seat on barrel gives a precise fit—no drilling required. May require minor stock inletting.
