Steel fixture completely eliminates the potential for damage caused by vise tension when working on the 1911 Auto frame. Insert in the magazine well from the top or the bottom, depending on the work being performed. Two, adjustment screws with steel bushings provide the clamping action inside the mag well to completely immobilize the frame on the fixture. Secure the shaft end of the fixture in a bench vise for full access to all sides of the frame for polishing, checkering, rail tightening, and other operations. Fits any single-stack 1911-style pistol.
