Dramatically lowers friction coefficient and provides long-lasting resistance to corrosion and wear caused by metal-to-metal contact. Great for pistol slides, trigger groups, and bolt carriers. Use for initial barrel break-in to promote improved accuracy, increased bullet velocity, and reduced fouling. BP-2000 Powder is a very fine, sub-micron, molybdenum disulfide powder that can be used on its own or to enhance the friction-reducing properties of Smooth-Kote. For barrel break-in, combine with Smooth-Kote to burnish the bore by filling microscopic pores in the metal with moly for a 20% reduction in friction compared to oiled surfaces.
