Screws directly to any barrel with standard ½"-28 tpi muzzle threads – no crush washer or peel washer required. Twelve recessed gas ports redirect combustion gases to counteract recoil force. Made from the same 8620 steel bar stock as the popular Vortex Flash Eliminator, and heat-treated to a surface hardness of Rc 60 to resist gas erosion. Rounded edges give a streamlined profile and minimize risk of snagging on other gear. Accepts Smith Enterprise quick-detach sound suppressors.
