Liner-lock release is flush ground with the handle, so it won’t accidentally activate when you’re grasping the knife; requires a positive, but not difficult, effort to release the lock, so the blade closes only when you want it to. Four-position spring steel clothing clip accommodates multiple carry options. Crucible II has the spear-point blade and ergonomic features of the fixed-blade Crucible FX2 in a streamlined folding package that extends with a quick flick of either thumb. Liners are of low-friction, cutlery-grade 420J stainless steel, with full-surface textured G10 grip panels retained by Phillips head screws that allow easy removal for cleaning. Ultra-compact Hornet II Auto has a spring-loaded blade that deploys instantly at a push of the flush-mounted release button. CPM154 high-carbon stainless steel alloy blade holds a superb edge and is contoured for outstanding piercing and cutting performance, with a 1" serrated section in front of the handle. Deep traction grooves milled into the anodized aluminum handle, and an aggressive, sand-surface insert ensure a solid grip.
