Comfortable, hand-filling contours, molded-in grasping ridges, and a non-slip textured surface ensure a secure grip for superior weapon control that aids speedy target acquisition and quick recovery for follow-up shots. Picatinny rails at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions provide plenty of real estate for mounting vertical grips, laser sights, flashlights, bipods, and other tactical accessories in a custom configuration to meet the shooter’s needs. Removable panels cover the bottom and side rails when they’re not in use to protect them from damage and the shooter’s hand from abrasion. Plenty of ventilation slots provide air circulation to keep the barrel cool, while a generous stand-off distance from barrel protects the hand from heat, especially during rapid or full-auto fire. Two-piece, snap-on design is a direct replacement for M4-style carbine handguard; remove the original guard and replace with the Intrafuse—no gunsmithing required.
