Frame-mounted laser sight adds minimal bulk and less than an ounce of weight to weapon, while providing pin-point target illumination with a powerful, 5mW, 635nm wavelength red laser. Laser pod is positioned on the right side of the frame, low enough so it won’t interfere with racking slide, high enough so the shooter’s index finger won’t block the beam when weapon is held in the Universal Cover Mode. Flowing, contoured shape fits the hand comfortably to improve operator’s grip on the weapon, and it allows continued use of standard holster. “Whale tail” extended beaver tail aids in properly positioning hand quickly and improves recoil control for fast recovery and quick follow up shots. Pressure-activated momentary switch under the beavertail has a tactile bump that ensures instinctive activation when you grasp the gun. Slide master switch on the back of the beavertail lets you select steady-on or pulsating laser output—or shut off the power completely to prevent accidental activation during transport or storage. Easy to install: simply remove the pistol’s trigger housing pin, install the Sabre, and secure it with the included replacement pin. Battery compartment is in the beavertail, so you can change batteries without removing the Sabre from the weapon and having to re-zero the sight. Comes with two pre-installed 357 button cell batteries that provide 3.5 hours of continuous laser output. Fully adjustable for windage and elevation after installation on the gun with the included hex-key wrench.
