Matched, full-size, .45 ACP set comes with much of the labor-intensive, slide-to-frame fitting already done, so you get down to final fitting and adding the custom parts right away. Both components are machined on the latest CNC equipment from high-quality carbon steel forgings before the preliminary pre-fitting fitting is done by Wilson’s gunsmiths. Popular custom features on the frame include a rounded, deeply undercut triggerguard, integral feed ramp, and beveled magazine well. It’s pre-cut to accept a Wilson extended beavertail grip safety and the new Heavy Duty Extended Ejector (both available separately). Unmarked, round-top slide has wide, deep-cut front and rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and a .300" x 60° front sight dovetail cut. The top rear of slide is smooth, so you can mill the correct dovetail for any rear sight you choose. Exterior surfaces are bead-blast prepped to receive any kind of finish from traditional bluing to the latest, high-tech tactical treatment.
