Stripped, M4-contour barrel machined from ordnance-grade 4140 chrome-moly steel is ready for your next custom carbine build or re-barrel job. Comes with the ramped, M4-type barrel extension installed and gas port pre-drilled. You supply the gas block, front sight, muzzle brake/flash hider, and handguard of your choice, so you don’t pay for extra parts you won’t use. Muzzle is pre-threaded with ½"-28 tpi threads to accept a wide array of aftermarket flash suppressors, compensators, and muzzle brakes. Chambered for 5.56mm NATO, with a choice of 1-7" twist rifling for best performance with military ammo, or 1-8" twist for compatibility with a wider range of bullet weights. Stress relieved to prevent accuracy-robbing distortion when barrel heats up, with a corrosion- and wear-resistant dark gray/black Parkerized finish that matches many factory receiver finishes.
