Stainless steel barrel blank is precision machined to near-final dimensions from solid stainless steel, ready for chambering and finishing. Allows you to produce a custom barrel for your customer with far less work than starting from scratch. Button rifled .224 diameter bore with superior land-to-groove dimensions that give match-grade accuracy. Requires finish facing at the breech, chambering, and gas port drilling. Comes pre-threaded with M4-type barrel extension hand fitted while the blank was still on the lathe to verify fit to individual barrel. Extension includes pre-cut feed ramp to help ensure positive, reliable feeding of rounds into chamber. Gas block shank is machined +.010" oversized to allow precise gas block fitting. Unfinished muzzle may be cut for a target crown or threaded for a flash hider or muzzle brake. Available in 20" long Service Rifle contour with 1-8" rifling twist or 24" long bull barrel Heavy Varmint style with 1-14" twist.
