Heat-treated, steel cylinder is the economical way to convert your large frame, Ruger single action into a big bore revolver for hunting or recreational shooting (assuming you don't mind maximum recoil and loose fillings!). The outside diameter, timing ratchets and locking notches are pre-cut to help minimize delicate and tedious machining operations. Five chambers are bored undersize for line reaming with a .375" pilot. Oversized, cylinder O.D. gives maximum wall thickness for popluar, large bore, revolver cartridges. Requires permanent modification to frame and retiming of action; gunsmith installation required.

SPECS: 4140 chrome moly steel, in-the-white. 1.980" (5.03cm) long x 1.800" (4.57cm) for the highly skilled gunsmith only, instructions NOT supplied. O.D. Line ream using .375" (9.53mm) pilot. Requires gunsmith fitting including, but not limited to; machining of frame and retiming of action.
