Low profile with the strength of stainless steel, this new S &W scope mount accepts Weaver-style rings and accessories. Installation is easy, simply remove the rear sight and install this versatile base in just minutes. Oversize recoil lug prevents the scope mount from shifting even when shooting full-house, magnum loads. Fits all newer K, L, N and X-frame revolvers that come drilled and tapped from the factory. Revolvers manufactured before 1992 require drilling and tapping.
