LOADING GATE CARTRIDGE KONVERTER

Conversion cylinders for Pietta and Uberti 1858 Remington, .44 caliber New Model Army reproduction revolvers give you the added advantage of a loading gate, making reloads quick and easy. Safety CylinderTM provides five, “live round” chambers, plus a sixth, unloadable “hammer down” chamber. Indexes and locks up on all six chambers to meet S.A.S.S. requirements for a six-shot revolver. Chambered for .45 Long Colt/.45 Schofield. Installation requires enlarging the cap loading port on the recoil shield to allow for insertion and ejection of cartridges. Ejector Rod Assembly replaces the factory cylinder pin and lets you push empty cases out of the chamber quickly for lightning-fast reloads. Requires minor modification of loading lever.
