“Good Old Five-Fifty-Five” as the boys call it. This is the “secret” that master polishers use to give that mirror finish to the gun after Polish-O-Ray™ 500. For the brightest possible finishes, we recommend hard felt, followed by loose muslin for each grit as you progress through them. You can stop with any of the three grits when the desired level of finish is achieved. Suggest you experiment to find the combo and sequence you like best in your shop. For the absolutely most gorgeous finish you’ve ever seen, follow 555 Gray with this. Often used to buff plated surfaces, this grade takes out 555 Gray marks leaving a mirror finish. Does a nice job on aluminum too.
