Cast alloy frame offers additional weight for reduced felt recoil, tighter tolerances for more precise operation, and many popular enhancements found on custom pistols. Comes with a new takedown lever spring, roll pins, and recoil buffer; all other components drop in from your existing pistol. Accepts aftermarket accessories that fit factory frame. Greater rigidity of alloy plus five times more rail area give tighter, more consistent slide-to-frame contact. Lock block is precision machined to tighter tolerances that eliminate trigger “play” to ensure a precise, consistent pull. Recoil-cushioning rubber backstrap insert replicates factory contour and can be replaced with a separately available insert that reproduces the 1911 Auto grip angle. Enlarged, rounded triggerguard and deeply checkered, straight frontstrap ensure comfortable fit for many different hand sizes. Extended beaver tail allows higher grasp on the frame, closer to the bore axis, further improving recoil control. Dished area around mag release ensures positive operation, and beveled magazine well eliminates the need for an aftermarket magwell extension. Integral Picatinny rail accepts a wide variety of laser sights and lights but not original Glock® flashlights. Available in Stainless Steel with a mar-resistant, bead-blasted natural finish or Aluminum with a dark gray hardcoat anodized finish. Installation by a qualified gunsmith or Glock armorer is recommended.
