Build A Distinctive-Looking Custom Competition Pistol

High-quality, replacement slide allows the gunsmith to give your Glock the functional improvements and smoothness of a custom, competition pistol. It's now possible to build a “racegun” top end for competition, then swap in the original factory slide for duty, concealed carry, or home defense use. All slides come with polished sides and a matte, anti-reflective top surface. Aggressive, forward-slanting cocking serrations improve purchase when hand is wet or sweaty. Each slide is precision machined from a heat-treated, 416 stainless steel forging for added strength and dimensional stability; narrower tolerances than factory specifications help ensure a tighter fit, more consistent lockup, and improved accuracy. Pre-cut rear sight dovetail and front sight hole accept sights designed to fit factory cuts. Due to tighter tolerances, slide may require final gunsmith fitting and de-burring to fit some frames. Caspian recommends lapping fitted surfaces with J-B Non-Embedding Bore Cleaning Compound, and polishing all contact surfaces including breach face, barrel bed, and disconnect ramp.

SPECS: 416 stainless steel, natural finish. Hardened to Rc 36-39.
