Machined, extruded aluminum free-float tube with four picatinny rails actually weighs less than the original handguards and shields. Replaces the barrel nut and eliminates stress on the barrel. Rails give plenty of space for mounting scopes, lights, lasers and more. Pins index the guard to the barrel nut to eliminate the possibility of spin. Large ventilation holes provide maximum cooling for sustained fire situations.
